HelstonBonaparte’s Gull still at Helston Boating Lake today and showing well

Helford Cattle Egret (20) in field on west side of Frenchnman’s Creek. Also Iceland Gull (juv)

NewquayCattle Egret (6) at roost on Gannel Estuary this evening

The LizardCattle Egret (2) flew over Ruan Pool late afternoon. Also Jack Snipe (2), Shoveler and Little Grebe (Thanks F.Trewin)

Hayle – Cattle Egret on estuary at 1250hrs then flew towards St Erth. Iceland Gull also flew off in same direction. Spoonbill (2), Black-tailed Godwit (2), Sandwich Tern (20+) and Med Gull.

Hayle – Green-winged Teal (1w drk) still at Hayle Estuary RSPB off B3301 causeway. Also Spoonbill. Black Redstart at North Quay, Hayle at the electric works

Ruan Lanihorne – Cattle Egret (10) south of Tregunna Farm in cattle field by road

Torpoint – Cattle Egret (2) at Millbrook in cattle field on Withnoe Lane at 11:50

St Erth – Cattle Egret still by Treloweth Lane viewed from gate 1/2 mile from railway bridge

Nanjizal – Little Bunting at Nanjizal Valley in hedge just east of footpath to Trevilley. Also Lapland Bunting (4)

Looe – Iceland Gull (juv) at Hannafore Point on rocks at 1000hrs

Newquay – Iceland Gull (juv) at Porth Reservoir at 1245hrs

Lizard Point – possible PACIFIC DIVER flew past with two BT Divers

Point Dalmatian Pelican at Restronguet Creek from Point Quay then seen to fly off high to west.

Botallack – presumed Dalmatian Pelican flew over Bottallack in direction of Pendeen.

Hayle – Green-winged Teal still at Hayle Estuary RSPB. Also Water Pipit, Spoonbill (2) and Yellow-legged Gull (ad) (Thanks L.Langley)

The Lizard Great Grey Shrike at Windmill Farm NR, in car park at 1130-1150hrs. Also Hen Harrier (2) and Marsh Harrier (1) (CBWPS).

Newquay – American Wigeon (drk) still at Gannel Estuary. Also Cattle Egret with Little Egrets in Penpol Creek.

Padstow – juvenile Glaucous Gull at Porthscothan Bay

Hayle Green-winged Teal (drk) still on Hayle Estuary from causeway this morning. Also Garganey (fem) still. Black Redstart on Lelant Salting housing estate (Thanks M.Halliday)

Newquay American Wigeon again with Wigeon flock on sea off Fistral Beach at 1245hrs. Also Water Pipit (2) on Gannel Estuary (Thanks L.Langley and T.Phelps)

Sennen – Cattle Egret still in fields at Brew Farm. Also Richards Pipit in field south of School (SW357256)

Lands End Lapland Bunting (2) at Land’s End. Also Bearded Tit again and Yellow-browed Warbler (2), Firecrest (2) and Siberian Chiffchaff

Marazion Yellow-browed Warbler at RSPB Marazion Marsh on east side along river. Snow Bunting on beach at Red river mouth

Perranuthnoe – Hudsonian Whimbrel (ad) still in Boat Cove NT. Park in Perranuthnoe and take coastal path west to view

FalmouthPectoral Sandpiper still at College Reservoir at 0735hrs on island, showing well, still present at 1130hrs (Thanks J.St Ledger and B.Porter). Common Tern (juv) still at Argal Reservoir

Porthgwarra – possible Little Bunting flew over Porthgwarra. Also Woodlark.  Richard’s Pipit in fields between Trevean Pool & derelict buildings at 1415hrs. Yellow-browed Warbler (3) at Roskestal Farm. Lapland Bunting (2) flew over Roskestal Farm

Mullion – Richard’s Pipit south of Mullion Cove at Lower Predannack

Perranuthnoe – Hudsonian Whimbrel (ad) still in Boat Cove NT at 0755hrs. Park in Perranuthnoe and take coastal path west to view

NanjizalBlack-throated Thrush at Nanjizal Valley briefly at 0800hrs then flew North & no further sign. Keep to public right of ways. Dusky Warbler trapped & ringed. Also Red-breasted Flycatcher and Yellow-browed Warbler (10)

Porthgwarra – Wholly unconfirmed report of Blyth’s Pipit reported to land in fields to east of Porthgwarra. Richard’s Pipit (2) in meadow below Doctor’s Garden. Also Yellow-browed Warbler (5)

DavidstowBaird’s Sandpiper still at Davidstow Airfield near control tower this morning, still present at 1155hrs near control tower. Buff-breasted Sandpiper also still at 1710hrs. Also Merlin and Ring Ouzel 

The LizardPallas’s Warbler east of Housel Bay along lane to Bass Point
