Lost on Sat 7th Oct – Manfrotto tripod with dark green carrying harness, left probably at Hayle Estuary RSPB, may have been left in the car park or the hide at Ryans Field. If found please    contact us via the website, Thank you!

PorthgwarraRed-eyed Vireo still at Porthgwarra between 0730-1215hrs on and off in elms by toilet block but no further sign by mid afternoon. Also Lesser Whitethroat in valley. Snow Bunting at Gwennap head. Balearic Shearwater (6) flew past (Thanks B.Dallas, V.Stratton, S.Rogers et al.)

St Ives – probable Black-throated Thrush briefly feeding on berries of Cotoneaster bush at Buttermilk Hill this morning. Also Ring Ouzel (7), Blackbird (14), Continental Song Thrush (18) between 1030-1130hrs (Thanks V.Stratton and J.Thomas)

Polgigga – Probable Pallid Harrier at Trevilley at 0830hrs

Cape CornwallRed-throated Pipit at golf course around 15th/16th holes in front of Nanpean Holiday Flats with flock of Meadow Pipit (c20) . Also Rose-coloured Starling (juv) with flock of Starling (c10). Black Redstart in Nanpean Holiday Flats car park. All seen between 0830-0930hrs (Thanks A.Jones)

Wednesday 23rd October 2013 Cornwall Bird Sightings

Rosudgeon *RED-EYED VIREO* until 1530hrs 1ml south of Rosudgeon at Prussia Cove, no further sign by 1700hrs. Use car park and follow track to Kenneggy Sands, view trees by stream after 100yds. Take Prussia Cove turning by chip shop in Rosudgeon, park in car park at end of lane. Take track from between car park and obvious conifers towards Kenneggy. Almost at bottom of hill there is a stream. Turn left into wooded valley and the bird was seen after about 250 yards in open glade. (Thanks M.Bishop). WRYNECK along coastpath near Prussia Cove
