13 & 14. GREAT BLUE HERON - December 2007. Undoubtedly the bird of the year on Scilly, this 1st Cal bird was found at Lower Moors by Ashley Fisher and to the disappointment of those who travelled to see it, disappeared the next day! (photos: M.Goodey)
