Todays Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:

St Agnes - RED-RUMPED SWALLOW still between Church and woodpile at 09.45hrs and past Periglis Cottage at 11.o5hrs. CATTLE EGRET (4) in trees at back of last house along Barnaby Lane at 13.35hrs viewed from Wingletang Downs. EUROPEAN BEE-EATER still in area of woodpile.

St Mary’s - Iceland Gull in ploughed field on Peninnis Head. Also Hobby briefly. GOLDEN ORIOLE along track from Longstones Heritage centre and Holy Vale at 16.20hrs and showing well. RED-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT still at Lower Moors at 17.45hrs and showing well.
