Tuesday 16th October 2007 - Scilly Bird Reports

New Birds on the Isles of Scilly today include:

Tresco - BLYTH’S PIPIT at Old Grimsby on playing field by community centre. Crake sp. at Great Pool from Swarovski Hide late afternoon.

St Mary’s - PENDULINE TIT at Lower Moors between pool and Dump clump at 15.25hrs tho elusive. Little Bunting (2) one bird in bare field by incinerator; one on Peninnis Head. Short toed Lark still on Airfild.

St Agnes - Quail on Gugh flushed twice at south end this evening.

Birds present again today include GC Thrush, Blackpoll Warbler, Wilson’s Snipe and plenty of YB Warblers
