Todays Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:
Scillonian III - Outbound journey - Balearic Sh’water (2), Bonxie (3), Ring Ouzel (fem) on board from Porthgwarra and off as boat past the airfield on St Marys.
Scillonian III - Inbound journey - Grey Phalarope (1), Storm Petrel (1), Balearic Sh’water (2), Sooty Sh’water (1), Bonxie (3+), Pom Skua (1) and Chiffchaff briefly on board.
St Mary’s - Yellow-browed Warblers on the Garrison and Carn Friars, Osprey over Carn Friars at 14.45hrs. Melodious Warbler briefly on the Garrison in Western Pines at 13.30hrs. Med Gull (3 2nd wints) at Porthloo on Taylors Island at 17.15hrs. Merlin over Carn Friars early afternoon. AMERICAN BUFF-BELLIED PIPIT still in field near pine belt at Carn Friars and showing well all day.

St Martin’s - Lapland Bunting (3) between Middletown and top Rock hill at 12.30hrs. Merlin by Daymark.
