Todays Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:
St Marys - Hoopoe again on airfield by firetruck. Black Redstart at Porthloo and Swift over. Hobby at Salakee Farm this morning
Tresco - Spoonbill flew to east end of Great Pool. Also Hobby over this afternoon.
St Martins - Arctic Skua (dark morph) flew west this evening, also Whinchat at Higher Town and Swift over. Redstart at Lawrences Brow this afternoon and Whimbrel (6) and Sandwich Tern (47+) on The Flats.
