Todays Birding highlights on the Isles of Scilly include:
St Mary’s - SHORT-TOED LARK still in ploughed field at end of Peninnis Head and showing well. Iceland Gull (juv) on beach at Porthcressa at 10.30hrs and two juvs in Hugh own Harbour at 0800hrs. GOLDEN ORIOLE flew from elms by road midway between Parting Carn and Porth Hellick House early morning, RED-SPOTTED BLUETHROAT right of seaward Hide at Porth Hellick Pool.
St Agnes - EUROPEAN BEE-EATER again below The Parsonage at 12.30rs
