Todays birdwatching highlights on a very wet day in Cornwall include:

Hayle – ROSE-COLOURED STARLING (ad) at entrance to St Ives Bay Holiday Park at 20.40hrs with starlings. (NOTE: The campsite is on the B3301 Hayle – Gwithian coast road, NOT in St Ives, see Rare and Scarce Bird Map)

Stithians – Scaup (drk) still at Stithians Reservoir today. Also Common Sandpiper at southern end this afternoon (Thanks J.Millett)
