Wednesday 8th August 2007 – Bird Report

St Just – **BLACK STORK** circling just south of St Just over the B3306 at 15.07hrs. Later seen flying over Sennen late evening.

Hayle Estuary – Med Gull (ad and 2 Juvs), Ringed Plover (20), Dunlin (18)

Sennen Cove – Med Gull (2 ads)

Falmouth – Med Gull (ad and 2nd sum), Greenshank (2)

Kingsmill Lake – Greenshank (18), Curlew (60), Redshank (50+), Little Egret (3), Black-tailed Godwit (1), Buzzard (6), Sparrowhawk (1) (thanks Chris Buckland)

Godrevy - Ringed Plover (4) (thanks Simon Wilcock)  This evening, still good numbers of Swallows and Sand Martins plus Wheatear (2), Common Sandpiper (1) and Pied Wagtail (20+) to roost, mainly young birds. (Thanks John H Johns)
