Wednesday 6th August 2008 – Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays birdwatching highlight in Cornwall include:

Wadebridge – *SPOTTED SANDPIPER* (Sum Plum) west of B3314 Trewornan Bridge at Amble Dam sluice viewed from CBWPS Burniere Hide at 17.50hrs, showing well on and off. Also Little Tern (3) at Dinham Flats.

Saltash OSPREY (juv) on River Tamar by China Fleet Club early afternoon before flying over Saltash. Also Hobby.

Hayle EstuaryLittle Tern (3) on Ryan’s Field this morning at high tide. Also Common Tern (5), Sandwich Tern (2), Dunlin (50) and Ringed Plover (10+) (Thanks P.Jeggo)

Sennen CoveMed Gull (4 juvs) this morning.
