Wednesday 5th December 2007 – Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Drift/Sancreed *CATTLE EGRET* (3) between Drift Reservoir and Sancreed again by minor road in cattle field left of Treganoe Farm entrance track. SW.428.291.

Siblyback reservoir*CATTLE EGRET* (4) still at north end behind large cowshed at 14.15hr and between plantations on NW side. Also Gadwall (6) and Goosander (2) (thanks M.Beer)

FalmouthFirecrest (2) behind Swanpool plus Med Gull (3 ads and 1w) this afternoon.

Hayle Estuary – No sign of Ring-billed Gull (1w) today but GW Teal (drk) still plus Med Gull (ad and 2w) and Dark-bellied Brent Goose (1).

College Reservoir Ring-necked Duck (fem) still today.

Carbis Bay – No sign of any Little Auks today but GN Diver (2)

St Gothian Sands NR Little Gull (1w) and Water Pipit reported again today.
