Wednesday 2nd – Friday 4th December 2009 Cornwall Bird Reports

Hayle **PACIFIC DIVER** again at Carnsew basin on 3rd until 1200hrs when it flew north.

Mounts Bay – possible **PACIFIC DIVER** of Marazion late morning. Velvet Scoter   (2) this morning (4th) flew towards Penzance Harbour. Eider off Penzance railway station on 2nd.

St Just – possible PALLID HARRIER 1.5 miles north of st Just at Levant/Rosecommon area at 15.15hrs on 4th.(no further info at this time).

St Ives Leach’s Petrel flew past the Island on 3rd. Also Grey Phalarope , Balearic Shearwater (19) and Bonxie (2).

Camel Estuary  – Red Kite flew over Wadebridge on 2nd and four Spoonbills were at Dinham Flats. A Firecrest was on the Camel Trail

Helston Little Auk at Loe Pool on 3rd.

Antony Spoonbill (2) were at Wacker Quay on 3rd.

Sennen Velvet Scoter and Long-tailed Duck still in Sennen Cove on 2nd.

Crowdy Hen Harrier (2) at Crowdy Res on the 2nd.
