Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Lingering birds included the HUMES LEAF WARBLER at Tehidy, eighteen CATTLE EGRET at Drift, ICELAND GULL at Newlyn and GLAUCOUS GULL at Sancreed. The HOOPOE was again at Polgigga but flew North at 10.15hrs. Elsewhere;
Hayle Estuary - YELLOW-LEGGED GULL (ad) this afternoon also Med Gull (13)
Rumps Point - Wheatear at Midday
Torpoint - Med Gull (6) and Brent Goose (7). Also Med Gull (3), Greenshank (3) and Spotted Redshank at Millbrook (Thanks C.Buckland)
Trevose Head - Wheatear and Brambling (20) but no sign of any Lapland Bunting as stubble field has been ploughed
Newquay - Goosander (2) at Crowdy Reservoir
