Boxing Day Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

CATTLE EGRETS were reported today from the following sites: St Ives, west of Halsetown on b3311 (11) (thanks P.English), Drift at Treganhoe Farm (9), ESE of Mullion at Erisey Barton (1), NW of Helston at Tregoose Farm (8), WNW of Constantine in field by junction to Brill, Bridge and Gweek (2), SW of Helston at Penventon Farm (2)

Antony - SPOONBILL (4) along River Lynher at Whacker Quay this afternoon

Newquay - BT Diver (1), Goosander (1) at Porth Reservoir

Marazion - Water Pipit still on beach

Penzance - Purple Sandpiper (15+) at Jubilee Pool today

Cot Valley - *HUMES WARBLER* still at top end of valley this afternoon in trees by bridge, tho mobile. Also Firecrest.

Hayle Estuary - GW TEAL stil plus Avocet and Med Gull (ad and 2w) today (thanks A.Boyns)

Helston - Long-tailed Duck (fem/1st w) still at Loe Pool, plus Firecrest.

Feock - GN Diver (2), BT Diver (2), Red-breasted Merganser (18) off Loe Beach at midday (thanks S.Taylor)

St Austell - Velvet Scoter still off Porthpean this morning. (thanks S.Taylor)

Stithians Reservoir - Goosander (male and female) at 14.00 hrs (thanks S.Taylor)
