Boxing Day Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

CATTLE EGRETS were reported today from the following sites: St Ives, west of Halsetown on b3311 (11) (thanks P.English), Drift at Treganhoe Farm (9), ESE of Mullion at Erisey Barton (1), NW of Helston at Tregoose Farm (8), WNW of Constantine in field by junction to Brill, Bridge and Gweek (2), SW of Helston at Penventon Farm (2)

Antony SPOONBILL (4) along River Lynher at Whacker Quay this afternoon

NewquayBT Diver (1), Goosander (1) at Porth Reservoir

MarazionWater Pipit still on beach

PenzancePurple Sandpiper (15+) at Jubilee Pool today

Cot Valley*HUMES WARBLER* still at top end of valley this afternoon in trees by bridge, tho mobile. Also Firecrest.

Hayle EstuaryGW TEAL stil plus Avocet and Med Gull (ad and 2w) today (thanks A.Boyns)

Helston Long-tailed Duck (fem/1st w) still at Loe Pool, plus Firecrest.

FeockGN Diver (2), BT Diver (2), Red-breasted Merganser (18) off Loe Beach at midday (thanks S.Taylor)
