Weather: The wind spent most of the day WSW with windspeed up to 13 mph. Mostly sunshine with broken cloud. For more details see HERE.

Birding highlights in Cornwall today include:

Hayle Estuary - ROSEATE TERN (ad) on estuary 1130 - 1400hrs. (Thanks K.Dalziel)

Porthgwarra - ROSEATE TERN (2 ads) flew past Gwennap Head at 11.05hrs. Also Sooty Sh’water, Storm Petrel (12), Puffin (6) and Great Skua (2) by 14.00hrs.

Falmouth - Med Gull (2s) between Penryn and Flushing on river this morning.
