Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Falmouth – Firecrest at Swanpool 100yrds along lane to Swanvale in oak tree on left.
Kenidjack - *PALLAS’S WARBLER* in copse east of sewage works, plus YB Warbler.
Cot Valley – unconfirmed report of *HUME’S YELLOW BROWED WARBLER* at top of valley at Canyack Cottage in trees in garden this afternoon plus *PALLAS’S WARBLER* reported in pines this afternoon.
Antony – Spoonbill (7) by River Lynher at Whacker Quay on far side of river this evening. (thanks J.Mitchell and C.Buckland)
Rame Head – Black Redstart (8), around farm, plus Ring Ouzel (2). (thanks C.Buckland)
Hayle Estuary – Spoonbill (2w) on Ryan’s Field this afternoon.
Stithians Reservoir – Wood Sandpiper still, plus Jack Snipe and Little Egret.
