Wednesday 22nd October 2008 Bird Reports

Isles of Scilly – The GREY-CHEEKED THRUSH, BLYTH’S REED WARBLER and OLIVE BACKED PIPIT were again reported from St Agnes and WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPERS were at Porth Hellick Bay, St Mary’s and again at South Beach, Tresco.

Cornwall – The only new find of note was an adult male RED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER at Mullion Cove, The Lizard. Elsewhere Brent Geese (7) were at East Looe (Thanks D.Spooner) and two Firecrests were in a private Garden at Truro (Thanks D.Jenkins). Five Med Gulls were at Stithians reservoir. (Thanks S.Taylor)
