St.Ivespossible YELKOUAN SHEARWATER flew west past St.Ives island early morning. Balearic Shearwater (27+), Pom Skua (2), Sooty Shearwater (4), Arctic Skua (9), Grey Phalarope, Little Gull, Great Skua (24) and Manx Shearwater (5,000+) past St.Ives Island between 0645-1050hrs

Drift RED-BACKED SHRIKE at Drift reservoir in bracken behind hide at 1249hrs

Davidstow BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER (juv) still on Davidstow Airfield on runway north of pond at 1500hrs

Bodmin MoorBlack Tern (juv) at Siblyback reservoir still near Dam at 1600hrs, showing well. Black-necked Grebe again

Pendeen Grey Phalarope (2) on sea from Pendeen watch at 1600hrs. Also Sabine’s Gull (6), Pom Skua (2), Balearic Shearwater (22), Sooty Shearwater (7), Great Skua (13), Little Gull and Leach’s Petrel past Pendeen watch by 1400hrs

St.JustGreat Shearwater, Sabine’s Gull, Balearic Shearwater (9), Sooty Shearwater, Great Skua, Arctic Skua (16) and Manx Shearwater (16,000) past Cape Cornwall this morning

Padstow Arctic Skua (10) and Manx Shearwater past Rumps Point this morning (Thanks C.Selway)
