Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Gwithian OSPREY circled St Gothian Sands NR at 0820hrs before flying east along coast. Also Common Sandpiper and Dunlin (P.Freestone)

Marazion – OSPREY flew in off sea then flew east over Marazion at 0720hrs. (Possibly same bird later seen at Gwithian?) Also Whimbrel (5) on beach. (Thanks R.Menari and B.Mellow)

Newquay OSPREY over hospital flew towards Padstow at 09.50hrs.

Torpoint NIGHTINGALE still singing by B3247 at Tregantle Fort.

BodminRed Kite between B3254 and Siblyback Reservoir over Craddock Moor early Morning.

CamelfordRed Kite flew over Camelford at 10.15hrs.

TruroRed Kite flew south over Trispen at 1700hrs.

Stithians Reservoir Garganey (drk) still on southern cutoff, tho elusive.
