Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

St Buryan*CATTLE EGRET* still in fields north of B3238 opposite Higher Trevorian this morning Plus three birds in cattle field at Rissick Farm, viewed distantly from Carn Brea this afternoon.

Siblyback Reservoir*CATTLE EGRET* (4) in sheep field on north side then in pines at 16.30hrs.

College Reservoir Ring-necked Duck (fem) still, Kingfisher (1), Marsh Tit (2), Treecreeper (1), Med Gull (2w) (thanks H.Cook)

Crowdy ReservoirHen Harrier (2 ringtails) early afternoon.

Carbis BayLittle Auk (2) at east end of beach and showing well, plus GN Diver (14)

Hayle EstuaryRing-billed Gull (1w) from causeway bridge this afternoon. GW Teal (drk) still, plus Greenshank and Med Gull (3 ads and 2x2w), Dark-bellied Brent Goose (1)

PenzancePurple Sandpiper (20) on rocks at Jubilee Pool today

FalmouthMed Gull (2 ads) at Swanpool near car park

St Gothian Sands NR Little Gull (1w) and Water Pipit reported again today

Boscathnoe ReservoirYellow-browed Warbler reported today.
