Newquay – HOODED MERGANSER (ad) of unknown origin at Newquay boating lake, feeding on bread, disassociating itself from other ducks. (Thanks L.Gwynn & E.Juxon). Chough at Trevarrian. Peregrine hunting crows (Thanks S.Grose)

Falmouth – LITTLE AUK off Castle Beach, Showing well. Grey Phalarope still at Castle beach this afternoon. Also Whimbrel and Black Redstart. BT Diver (38), Red-necked Grebe (2), probable Slav Grebe, Shag (605+) and GN Diver (5) off Swanpool. Balearic Shearwater from Pendennis Point briefly in Carrick Roads then flew out to sea. Med Gull in Falmouth Bay. Black Redstart near Florence Place (Thanks D.Chaney, J.St Ledger & B.Dallas)

Hayle – BT Diver and GN Diver in Carnsew Basin still

Carbis Bay – GN Diver (6), BT Diver, Common Scoter and Balearic Shearwater in bay

Marazion – Bittern still at Marazion Marsh RSPB

Camel Estuary – Goosander (3) off Padstow on Camel Estuary this morning

Wadebridge – Oiled RT Diver taken into care at Amble Marshes. Goosander (male) at Guineaport (Thanks D.Julian)

Newlyn – GN Diver (4) and Common Scoter off Sandy Cove (Thanks P.Jeggo). GN Diver (2) off Tolcarne. Med Gull (ad) on Newlyn Green (Thanks G.Hobin)

St Austell – Swallow at Par Beach

Torpoint – Yellow-browed Warbler (2) still at Torpoint sewage works this afternoon. Park by road north of St.John and just South of ford at SX.410.540, cross ford then take track east to end of reedbed then take track through reeds and walk along beach for 50yds to wood. No access Monday-Friday, access on Saturdays and Sundays only but only if adjacent MOD rifle range is not in use and flying warning flag.

Roseland – GN Diver (5) and BT Diver (3) offshore
