Tuesday 30th September 2008 – Cornwall Bird Reports

A much quieter day than yesterday with no sign of any Red-breasted Flycatchers. Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

PorthgwarraYELLOW-BROWED WARBLER still in copse nr car park. Also Firecrest.

St LevanYELLOW-BROWED WARBLER still in sycamores near church along track to Grey Gables.

Camelford PECTORAL SANDPIPER still at Davidstow Airfield this morning.

PendeenLeach’s Petrel west past Pendeen Watch this afternoon.

Hayle Estuary Ruff (3) on main estuary then flew west this morning (Thanks M.Halliday)
