St Ives – **SNOWY OWL** (juv) still on moors SW of St Ives, south of B3306 at Sperris Quoit on moor atÂ Trendrine Hill. Please view from a sensible distance and DO NOT FLUSH THIS BIRD!!!
Penzance – *CATTLE EGRET* following the plough in field at Paul this morning (Thanks R.Butts)
Helston – RING-BILLED GULL (2x1w) still at Helston Boating Lake. Long-tailed Duck again at Loe Pool also Scaup (3) andÂ hybrid Tuftie x Ring-necked DuckÂ (Thanks A.Pay). ‘Siberian’ Chiffchaff (3), Chiffchaff (25) andÂ Firecrest (2) at sewage works.
Torpoint – Brent Goose (4), Med Gull (2) and Common Scoter (4) on St Johns Lake
Wadebridge – Water Pipit (7) at Treraven Meadows NR. Also Ruff and Green Sandpiper (3).
Marazion – Water Pipit still on beach at Red River mouth. Swallow (3) over Marazion Marsh RSPB and Firecrest.
Penzance -Â Â BN Grebe still in Sandy Cove, Newlyn. Purple Sandpiper (22+) on rocks at Jubilee Pool.
Truro – Spotted Redshank just south of sewage works at mouth of Calenick Creek, Truro River. Also Avocet (4) at the southern end of the Tresillian River near Malpas. (Thanks T.Twiggs)
