Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Pendeen*GREENISH WARBLER* along road to Pendeen Watch in sycamores at Calartha Farm, tho elusive

Polgigga BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER still in fields along footpath between Ardensawah and higher Bosistow Farm (Thanks S.Cox)

Nanjizal PURPLE HERON over valley this morning. Also RED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER in Valley.

Porthgwarra WRYNECK north of Porthgwarra and south of Roskestal Farm along road near Sallow clump. Also MELODIOUS WARBLER still in 60ft Cover.

St LevanROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) by church early afternoon.

Lands EndMARSH WARBLER reported again in bracked south of car park this afternoon. Also WRYNECK in dump north of boarded up white house.

Hayle EstuaryPink-footed Goose, Ruff (4), Greenshank (2), Dunlin (c10), Kittiwake (juv), Knot (12), Bar-tailed Godwit (10) and Green Sandpiper (ad 1) at 0700hrs. (P.Freestone and M.Halliday) Also Garganey (eclipse drk) at 1800hrs.

Porthcurno MELODIOUS WARBLER south of toilet block on east side in bracken this evening.

Wadebridge TEMMINCK’S STINT again at Upper Treraven Meadow this afternoon on pools near gate, also Ruff (12) and Greenshank (3) . PECTORAL SANDPIPER still at Walmsley Sanctuary and Curlew Sandpiper (8)

MarazionPale-bellied Brent Goose (31) and Arctic Tern in Mounts Bay this morning. Also Little Stint (4) on beach between Long Rock and Penzance.

SennenPied Flycatcher at Brew Pool this morning.
