Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Tehidy Country Park – **HUME’S LEAF WARBLER** still around pond at back of Cafe.
Drift – *CATTLE EGRET* (6+) still in fields at Treganhoe Farm. Also ICELAND GULL (juv) on Reservoir.
Newlyn – ICELAND GULL (2) this morning in Harbour
Stithians – Bittern still on southern cutoff, tho elusive. Also Lapwing (250+), Shoveler (26), Chiffchaff (2), Snipe (8+) and PF Goose (2) (thanks S.Wilcock)
Helston – Long-tailed Duck (fem/1w) still at seaward end of Loe Pool. Also Goldeneye, Gadwall (20) and Water Rail (thanks K and C Glasier)
Gwithian – Little Gull (1w) again today on main pool (thanks J.Lander)
