Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Hayle Estuary – Little Stint (juv), Curlew Sandpiper (3), Knot (3), Med Gull (ad and juv), Sandwich Tern (7), Dunlin (170), Ringed Plover (35), Bar-tailed Godwit (1), Whimbrel (1), Common Sandpiper (1), Peregrine (thanks S.Halliday)

Porthgwarra - Wryneck near dried up pool.

Stithians Reservior - Shoveller (2) (thanks S.Taylor)

Marazion -  Honey Buzzard reported over the Marsh, Grasshopper Warbler and Spotted Crake also on marsh, Knot (2) on Beach.

Lands End – Merlin (1), Ortolan Bunting between Swingates and Trevilley Farm in stubble field. Ortolan Bunting (2), between Nanjizal and Trevilly Farm in 2nd large stubble field this evening.

Kingsmill Lake – No sign of adult Spoonbill today but Greenshank (22), Curlew Sandpiper (1), Knot (4), Kingfisher (see photo below), Peregrine. (thanks C.Buckland)
