Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Portscatho - LITTLE BUNTING at Porth Farm NR (present 2+ days) Use National Trust car park then walk back along road for 25 yards and take track north for half a mile over stile into stubble field.
Drift - *CATTLE EGRET* (15) still in fields at Treganhoe Farm. Also ICELAND GULL (juv).
Hayle Estuary - GLAUCOUS GULL (2w) flew west from estuary at back of Old Quay House car park at 1530hrs. Also Med Gull (ad, 2w) (P.Freestone)
Newlyn - ICELAND GULL (juv) again in Harbour
Sennen - GLAUCOUS GULL in cove this morning and ICELAND GULL (2 juvs) in fields this morning seen briefly in Cove this evening
Polgigga - HOOPOE again in garden of The Vineries opposite duckpond this morning (thanks D.Jenkins)
Wadebridge - *CATTLE EGRET* (6) again at Hay at 15.30hrs. SPOONBILL (ad) on River Camel at Dinham Flats at 0830hrs.
Stithians Reservoir - *CATTLE EGRET* still in Golden Lion cutoff. RING-BILLED GULL (1w) again on main reservoir plus Goldeneye (3) and GC Grebe (pair). BITTERN still at Southern cuttoff. (Thanks J.H.Johns)
Marazion - Water Pipit still on beach near Red River mouth and ‘Siberian’ Chiffchaff on east side of Longrock Pool still.
