Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Cot Valley - **HUME’S LEAF WARBLER** still at top end of valley near Daisy Cottage, tho mobile.
Helston - *CATTLE EGRET* (4) still in fields near Penventon Farm
Drift - *CATTLE EGRET* (16+) still in fields at Treganhoe Farm this morning
Looe - *CATTLE EGRET* (2) 3mls NE of Looe, 500yrds Sw of Widegates in fields opposite Downend Country House at 16.00hrs. Also Little Egret (8).
Stithians Reservoir - RING NECKED DUCK (fem) still from Carmenellis Causeway. Also Bittern and poss. Siberian Chiffchaff still at southern cutoff and Goosander on main reservoir.
Mousehole - ICELAND GULL (juv) and GLAUCOUS GULL (2) on St Clement’s Isle late afternoon
Newlyn - ICELAND GULL (juv) in Harbour again late afternoon also BN Grebe still in harbour and GN Diver (2).
Hayle - Avocet and Med Gull (ad) on Estuary. Kittiwake and Brambling (10+) at Millpond.
