I think there has been a misidentification regarding the Ring Ouzel near Tyacks in Camborne. I believe the bird in question is actually a blackbird with abnormal plumage with a white nape that extends round the throat on his left side. The bird has been resident there for 2 years now and has inherited abnormal plumage . The first abnormal plumage appeared about 5 years ago and the white marking around the neck or throat has become a common trait in the blackbirds around the centre of Camborne. I see the bird 2 or 3 times a week.
