Todays birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Nanjizal*WESTERN BONELLI’S WARBLER* in area with no general access this morning. (Thanks K.Wilson)

HelstonRED-BACKED SHRIKE (Juv) at The Loe, Helston. On bracken covered slope at East end of Carminowe Creek at 14.15hrs (Thanks T.Hasdell)

DavidstowBUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER (2) and PECTORAL SANDPIPER (2) at Davidstow Airfield still late afternoon.

PorthgwarraWRYNECK (1 by track to Raftra Farm; 1 in Garden of Dolphin house) and Redstart.

KenidjackWRYNECK at seaward end of valley on north side by Kendijack Castle this morning. Also Dartford Warbler and Whinchat.

Crowdy ReservoirScaup (eclipse drk) near hide at 15.30hrs and showing well.

The LizardHONEY BUZZARD flew NE over Lizard Point at 1130hrs. Also Common Buzzard (41) flew NE.

Lands EndWRYNECK still north of boarded up white house, tho mobile

SennenROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) at Brew Pool this morning.
