Todays birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Nanjizal – *WESTERN BONELLI’S WARBLER* in area with no general access this morning. (Thanks K.Wilson)

Helston – RED-BACKED SHRIKE (Juv) at The Loe, Helston. On bracken covered slope at East end of Carminowe Creek at 14.15hrs (Thanks T.Hasdell)

Davidstow – BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER (2) and PECTORAL SANDPIPER (2) at Davidstow Airfield still late afternoon.

Porthgwarra – WRYNECK (1 by track to Raftra Farm; 1 in Garden of Dolphin house) and Redstart.

Kenidjack – WRYNECK at seaward end of valley on north side by Kendijack Castle this morning. Also Dartford Warbler and Whinchat.

Crowdy Reservoir – Scaup (eclipse drk) near hide at 15.30hrs and showing well.

The Lizard – HONEY BUZZARD flew NE over Lizard Point at 1130hrs. Also Common Buzzard (41) flew NE.

Lands End – WRYNECK still north of boarded up white house, tho mobile

Sennen – ROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) at Brew Pool this morning.
