Bude - PECTORAL SANDPIPER at Maer lake between 1000-1030hrs (Thanks R.Davey)

St JustRED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER at top of Kenidjack Valley at 1045hrs, still at 1630hrs in copse by engine shed. SERIN flew up Kenidjack Valley at 1646hrs. Access west off B3306 opposite Tregeseal Gallery. WOOD WARBLER at top end of Cot Valley by Canjack House. Also Yellow-browed Warbler and Firecrest in pines at Cot Valley (Thanks R.Hollis)

FalmouthPURPLE HERON (juv) at College reservoir flew behind island at 1100hrs, still present at 1250hrs showing well from dam end in reeds on right hand bank. Also Firecrest. Balearic Shearwater, probable Long-tailed Skua and Med Gull (3) off Pendennis between 0730-0830hrs. Also Whimbrel. Firecrest (2) near coastguard lookout. Yellow-browed Warbler at Swanvale still this morning. Again no sign of possible Double-crested Cormorant at Swanpool (Thanks D.Chaney, W.Chegwidden and I.Maclean)
