Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Nanquidno Chough (2) in valley at 08.30hrs.

Hayle Estuary – No sign of 2w Spoonbill late morning. (Cornwall Birding) Kingfisher (2), Bar-tailed Godwit (3+), Med Gull (ad) (thanks P.Kilmurray)

Stithians ReservoirWood Sandpiper still from Carmenellis Causeway

St JustWoodlark flew over Cape Cornwall road mid morning.

Marazion  – Spotted Crake late afternoon from 5 bar gate.

Lands End**DESERT WHEATEAR** reported YESTERDAY (!?) at 15.00hrs on moor between complex and Gleeb Farm. No other details i’m afraid (per Birdline SW)

WadebridgeBLACK KITE over Walmsley Sanctuary late morning appeared to land in nearby fields.

Sennen – Probable CASPIAN GULL (2w) on Cowloe late afternoon

PorthgwarraRichards Pipit (2) over, Lapland Bunting (3) in stubble fields east of Roskestal Farm. YB Warbler in 60ft cover plus Hen Harrier over and Firecrest.
