Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
Nanquidno - Chough (2) in valley at 08.30hrs.
Hayle Estuary - No sign of 2w Spoonbill late morning. (Cornwall Birding) Kingfisher (2), Bar-tailed Godwit (3+), Med Gull (ad) (thanks P.Kilmurray)
Stithians Reservoir - Wood Sandpiper still from Carmenellis Causeway
St Just - Woodlark flew over Cape Cornwall road mid morning.
Rame Head - Wheatear (1), Hobby (1), Redwing (1), Chiffchaff (5), Blackcap (1), Black Redstart (1)(thanks C.Buckland)

Marazion - Spotted Crake late afternoon from 5 bar gate.
Lands End - **DESERT WHEATEAR** reported YESTERDAY (!?) at 15.00hrs on moor between complex and Gleeb Farm. No other details i’m afraid (per Birdline SW)
Wadebridge - BLACK KITE over Walmsley Sanctuary late morning appeared to land in nearby fields.
Sennen - Probable CASPIAN GULL (2w) on Cowloe late afternoon
Porthgwarra - Richards Pipit (2) over, Lapland Bunting (3) in stubble fields east of Roskestal Farm. YB Warbler in 60ft cover plus Hen Harrier over and Firecrest.
Nanjizal - Lapland Bunting at Faraway Cottage.
