HayleAMERICAN WIGEON (fem) this morning in creek by road by Old Quay House. SPOONBILL (6) on Estuary then flew to Copperhouse Creek where they remained at dusk. Garganey on estuary and Arctic Tern (juv) in harbour by Philp’s Pasty Shop this afternoon.

Antony  – SPOONBILL (4) at Wacker Quay this afternoon.

Lizard PointWryneck in tamarisks at Pistil Meadow then flew along wall towards the point. 20+ Chiffchaff and a Blackcap at the Point and female Merlin flew west. Also Black Redstart at Church Cove (Thanks A.Saunders Celtic Bird Tours)

Helston Loe Pool – 2nd winter Ring-billed Gull Carminowe Creek and four Med Gulls, Firecrest in bushes along track (Thanks A.Saunders Celtic Bird Tours)

Camborne Yellow-browed Warbler (2) still in private garden at Camborne (Thanks T.Twiggs)

NewquayYellow-browed Warbler (2) at Porth Joke; 1 by pond; 1 in trees at seaward end of valley

Nanjizal Lapland Bunting flew over this morning. Also Short-eared Owl.

Kenidjack Yellow-browed Warbler in copse at top of valley. Firecrest at seaward end of valley

MarazionFirecrest in scrub on east side of RSPB reserve by Red River

DriftWhooper Swan (ad) still on Reservoir

Porthgwarra‘Northern’ Willow Warbler in valley today. Also Ring Ouzel and Turtle Dove near Arden-sawah Farm.

Land’s End – possible Radde’s Warbler in SW corner of Treeve Common this morning tho mobilie and elusive. Richard’s Pipit flew over this morning.
