Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Stithians Reservoir -  SMEW (redhead) again this afternoon in NE arm with Goldeneye (2 fem) (thanks S.Jackson)

St Leven – Probable DESERT LESSER WHITETHROAT west of church in trees west of turning circle this morning.

Porthgwarra Firecrest (2) one in 60ft cover; one in doctors garden this morning.

Lands EndLapland Bunting flew over plus Woodlark with Skylarks in fields between Trevilley farm and Trevescan. No sign of American Buff-bellied Pipit up to 12.30hrs.

Marazion Long tailed Duck (2; 1 drk) flew towards Penzance at 08.55hrs. YB Warbler and Firecrest still along track to Kinfisher Hide

Carrick RoadsBlack-necked Grebe (2) from Loe Beach, Feock this morning.

FoweyGrey Phalarope reported at Bodinnick Ferry on River Fowey

FalmouthFirecrest on Back Lane at Swanpool, Med Gull (ad) in Car Park around midday

Hayle EstuaryGreen-winged Teal still, plus Kingfisher on Ryan’s Field (thanks J.Endersby)
