Todays birding highlights on a wet and windy day in Cornwall include:

Sennen – Possible AZOREAN YELLOW-LEGGED GULL (2w) again in fields south of B3315 at Skewjack Farm this afternoon. Also Iceland Gull (1w) and Yellow-legged Gull. Grey Phalarope between Lifeboat Station and Cowloe this afternoon.

Helston - RING-BILLED GULL (1w) still at Helston Boating Lake.

Newquay – ROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) still in hedge behind 25, Penhallow Road (Thanks R.Treeby)

Pendeen – Balearic Shearwater past at 16.30hrs. Also Bonxie flew west.

Hayle – Goosander (fem) on Ryan’s Field RSPB resreve this morning (Thanks P.Jeggo)
