Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Helston - *LESSER SCAUP* at Helston Boating Lake this morning.

Newquay – ROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) still this morning in bushes behind 27 Penhallow Road Newquay. Use access track beside 27 Penhallow Road.  Bird present at 10.33hrs before flying off.  (Present 18 days) (Thanks R.Treeby)

NanjizalYB Warbler trapped and ringed this morning. Also Lapland Bunting briefly and Firecrest.

MarazionWater Pipit at Marazion Marsh, also Swallow (3) at Long Rock and Firecrest. Brent Goose (10) still in Mounts Bay.

PenzanceBlack Redstart on harbour wall. Also Purple Sandpiper.

WadebridgeWater Pipit still at Treraven Meadows NR. Also Green Sandpiper (4) and Greenshank.

FalmouthMed Gull at Swanpool in Car Park this afternoon.
