Torpoint – WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER at St John’s Lake til 14.00hrs then flew towards HMS Raleigh wall. Also Green Sandpiper and Med Gull (3)
Helston – RING-BILLED GULL still at boating lake this afternoon. Also probable ‘Siberian’ Chiffchaff at sewage works.
Polgigga – RICHARDS PIPIT in field at Higher Bosistow Farm this morning.
Padstow – Short-eared Owl at Pentire point this afternoon.
Marazion – Sandwich Tern flew south this morning (Thanks M.Rouncefield) Also RB Merganser still at mouth of Red River and Swallow (4) at Long Rock industrial Est.
Penzance – Purple Sandpiper (20) on rocks at Jubilee Pool.
Looe – PB Brent Goose (6)Â at Hannafore this morning. Also Common Sandpiper (Thanks A.Dawson) and Water Pipit on beach.
Gwithian – Firecrest in tamarisks by gate of sewage treatment works opposite St Gothian Sands NR. (Thanks T.Twiggs)
Porthgwarra – Velvet Scoter (2) flew past this afternoon
Bodmin – Hen Harrier (male) at Crowdy Reservoir.
St Columb Major – Hen Harrier at Winnards Perch this morning.
Hayle Estuary – Med Gull (colour-ringed with Red FC 17) at estuary today (Thanks B.Toms)
