Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Sancreed*CATTLE EGRET* (3) in cattle field at Sellan Farm this morning. Also Iceland Gull (juv), Merlin, Golden plover (80) and Lapwing (100+). PF Goose (2) still and Shoveler (10) at Drift reservoir.(Thanks D.Flumm)

St Ives**SNOWY OWL** again on moor south of Zennor at Sperris Quoit. *CATTLE EGRET* in cattle field at Halsetown east of B3311 at junction with Balnoon Pub. Little Gull in Carbis Bay (Thanks D.Eva)

Sennen*CATTLE EGRET* (2) in field by Trevorian Pool. Also Iceland Gull (2 juvs)

Helston RING-BILLED GULL (2) still on boating lake and showing well. Also YB Warbler, Firecrest (2) and Siberian Chiffchaff still at sewage Works and Long-tailed Duck on Loe Pool.

FeockVelvet Scoter (2) still in Carrick Roads. Also BN Grebe (25)

TruroWater Rail (2), Avocet (4), Little Grebe (24), Common Snipe (6), Spotted Redshank, Greenshank (14) and Bar-tailed Godwit (11) at Tresillian Estuary/Tresemple Pool (Thanks S.Wilcock)

GwithianFirecrest in sallows at sewage works opposite St Gothian Sands NR (P.Freestone) Also Pintail (drk) and Shoveler (drk) on reserve. (Thanks A.George)

Marazion Bittern again at Marazion Marsh RSPB. Water Pipit still on beach and Swallow past. Little Auk in Little London area at 12.15hrs. (Thanks B.Toms)

Penzance – BN Grebe still in Sandy Cove, Newlyn.
