Todays birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Helston*LESSER SCAUP* (fem) still at Loe Pool. Also Long-tailed Duck this morning and Goldeneye (2). (Thanks M.Rouncefield) Bittern in reeds at north end this evening. RING-BILLED GULL still on boating lake.

Newquay ROSE-COLOURED  STARLING (juv) still in gardens on Penhallow Road.

Torpoint SPOONBILL briefly at St Johns Lake this afternoon.

MarazionShorelark reported on beach this morning.

WadebridgeWater Pipit still at Treraven Meadows NR this evening. Also Ruff.

HayleGoosander (fem) on estuary from causeway bridge this afternoon (Thanks M.Jones)

Penzance Purple Sandpiper (12) on rocks by Jubilee Pool and Swallow (2) over Mounts Bay School, Heamoor this morning and (2+) still at Heliport.

DriftGoosander (2 redhead) on reservoir at 16.30hrs (Thanks D.Flumm)
