Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:
St Ives - CATTLE EGRET (11) still west of Halsetown in cattle field opposite riding school on B3311
Drift/Sancreed - CATTLE EGRET (10) still at Treganhoe Farm this morning (thanks L.Proctor) then 16 birds in fields at Tresvennack Farm, SE of Drift crossroads at A30 this afternoon.
Stithians Reservoir - Goosander (male and fem) on reservoir (thanks S.Taylor)
Newlyn - Black-necked Grebe still in Sandy Cove (thanks L.Proctor)
Siblyback Reservoir - GREAT GREY SHRIKE again in fields between Cafe and car park, tho elusive. Escaped Bar-headed Goose with Canada’s (thanks G.Arnold)
Cot Valley - *HUME’S WARBLER* still at top end of valley in trees around DaisyCottage.
Canworthy Water - Barnacle Goose (3) with Canada Geese today
Hayle Estuary - GW TEAL still, plus Med Gull (9) and Avocet.
Clapper Marshes - Ruff (1) and Green Sandpiper (2) reported today
Probus - Barn Owl along Probus Bypass today at 1600hrs (thanks S.Wilcock)
