Sunday 2nd March 2008 – Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

CATTLE EGRETS were again reported from Drift (9), Stithians and Widegates, Looe (5) (Thanks J.Batey). ICELAND GULLS were at Newlyn, Walmsley Sanctuary, Hayle Estuary and Drift Reservoir.  The Yellow-browed Warbler was reported again from Helston and the HUMES LEAF WARBLER was still at Tehidy. LAPLAND BUNTINGS totalled three birds at Trevose Head. Elsewhere;

Gerrans BayRed-necked Grebe, Slav Grebe (2), GN Diver (9) and BT Diver (7) off Pendower Beach
