Today’s Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Drift*CATTLE EGRET* at Drift Reservoir in field opposite side of the reservoir to the CWBPS Hide (see Rare and Scarce Bird Map)

St Buryan*CATTLE EGRET* still from B3283 in fields opposite Higher Trevorian Farm. (see Rare and Scarce Bird Map)

Sennen CovePom Skua (2), Great Skua (9) between 09.00 – 14.30hrs.

Pendeen WatchPom Skua, Balearic Sh’water and Bonxie (3) this morning.

Mounts Bay – No sign of ad. Pacific Diver today. Purple Sandpiper (4) off Jubilee Pool, Penzance.

Falmouth Slav Grebe at Swanpool, east of beach near rocks at 14.45hrs.

Hayle EstuaryGW Teal (drk) still and Dark-bellied Brent Goose (2) today

NewquayGreat Skua, Manx Sh’water and RT Diver past Towan Head today, plus Goosander (2 fem) at Porth Reservoir
