Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Praa SandsRED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER east of Praa Sands at Trewavas Farm late morning and showing well. Take Trewavas Lane south off crossroads on A394 to farm then take footpath through farm to ‘bridleway’ sign and view large sycamore on south side of road before bend SW.586.283

Rame RED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER at Rame Head this morning (Thanks D.Clegg et al)

Lands EndMARSH WARBLER reported again in braken along track east of southern end of car park. Also Reed Warbler (3) and Lesser Whitethroat

Nanquidnopossible MARSH WARBLER still on north side of ditch running through valley from mill house. Showing well intermitantly. Also Chough (2) over this morning and Spotted Flycatcher (3+).

Cot ValleyYELLOW-BROWED WARBLER in sycamores along track to Youth Hostel.

NanjizalYELLOW-BROWED WARBLER trapped and ringed this afternoon. (Thanks K.Wilson)

St Levan YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER at church in sycamores along track to Grey Gables. Also ROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) near church tho mobile.

PorthcurnoYELLOW-BROWED WARBLER 50yrds south of car park in bushes on left side of valley.

RameYELLOW-BROWED WARBLER in trees near Rame church tho elusive. Also Hobby reported.

St AgnesYELLOW-BROWED WARBLER still in Methodist Chapel Garden with tit flock.

St Ives HONEY BUZZARD flew East at Clodgy point St Ives this morning. GOSHAWK South West over St Ives approximately midday. Also Turtle dove in Burthallan lane and Med gull (5) on Porthmeor beach. (Thanks R.James)

PorthgwarraWRYNECK in 60ft cover this morning tho elusive. Also Firecrest (2), Pied Flycatcher, Common Crossbill and Chough (2).

PendeenWRYNECK by coastguard cottages this afternoon. Also Pied Flycatcher.

The LizardROSE-COLOURED STARLING (juv) still at Lizard Village this morning. Also Chough (4).

TruroBlack-tailed Godwit (20), Dunlin (20), Spotted Redshank (1) and Grey Plover (4) at Tresemple Pool, Tresillian. (Thanks M.Jones)
