Sunday 27th September 2009 Cornwall Bird Reports

The Lizard - First-winter Shrike sp. still this afternoon west of the A3083 viewable from bend in road between Lizard village and Kynance Cove, tho distant and very mobile. Initial thoughts appear to favour Brown Shrike but Isabelline Shrike cannot be ruled out at this time.

Marazion*GLOSSY IBIS* flew into reeds at west end of Marazion Marsh RSPB this afternoon. (Thanks R.Hosken)

Nanquidno WOODCHAT SHRIKE still in hedge north of marshy field. (wish the photos above were as close as the one below!!)
