Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Gwithian - **BONEPARTES GULL** flew west past Hell’s Mouth at 1410hrs. Little Gull still at St Gothian Sands NR.

Cot Valley - **HUME’S LEAF WARBLER** still at top end between Brook Cottage and Daisy Cottage.

Tehidy Country Park - possible **HUMES LEAF WARBLER** still around pond west of cafe.

Camborne - YELLOW-BROWED WARBLER at Duchy College, Rosewarne this afternoon (thanks J.H.Johns)

Drift - *CATTLE EGRET* (19) still in fields near Treganhoe Farm this afternoon

Pendeen - *CATTLE EGRET* east of Pendeen and west of Morvah north of B3306 in fields along road to Chypraze Farm.

Newquay - *CATTLE EGRET* (6) near Trennistick Farm east of Crantock Plains Touring Park. Also, Goosander (2 redheads) at Porth Reservoir today.

Stithians Reservoir - RING-NECKED DUCK (fem) from Carmenellis causeway this afternoon. Also Bittern still at southern cutoff and Goosander (2)(thanks S.Taylor)

Newlyn - ICELAND GULL (juv) still in Harbour, plus BN Grebe (2), GN Diver (2) and Black Redstart still.

Trewellard - ICELAND GULL (juv) flew south late morning.

Hayle Estuary - Avocet still. Also, Med Gull (ad), Black-tailed Godwit (1), Golden Plover (200+), Lapwing (300+), Common Snipe (13+) on Ryan’s Field this morning. (Cornwall Birding)

Porthgwarra - Balearic Sh’water lingering off Gwennap Head this afternoon

Porthleven - Chough along coastal Path at Trewavas Head, also Black Redstart. (thanks H.Cook)

Crowdy Reservoir - Goosander (2) this afternoon

Mounts Bay - Slav Grebe (3) in bay this morning.

Torpoint - Long-tailed Duck (fem/1w), GN Diver, RB Merganser (3) at St Johns Lake. Also Spotted Redshank (1), Greenshank (3) and RB Merganser (2) at Millbrook (Thanks C.Buckland)
