Stithians – probable *BLACK KITE* flew west over south end of Stithian reservoir at 1300hrs. Goldeneye (6.fem), Great Crested Grebe (2) and Buzzard (7) at Stithians reservoir this morning (Thanks S.Taylor)
St.Ives - *ALPINE SWIFT* 50yrds from NCI watch-point on St.Ives Island at 1421hrs, viewed for c.4 mins before heading NE, harried by Herring Gull (2) for c.30sec (Thanks T.Lait). Also Black Redstart on St.Ives Island (Thanks M.Rouncefield)
Hayle - *CATTLE EGRET* on Hayle Estuary RSPB off B3301 causeway until 0700hrs then flew SE. probable *ALPINE SWIFT* between Hayle and Gwithian, flew over B3301 at 1230hrs
Marazion – *ALPINE SWIFT* briefly at Marazion Marsh RSPB at 1420hrs then flew east. Water Pipit and Bittern (2) also on Marazion Marsh RSPB still, Iceland Gull (juv) flew over. Also BT Diver (7) offshore. Slav Grebe (2) off long rock. Red Kite flew over Plain-An-Gwarry. No sign of Red-Rumped Swallow
Constantine – HOOPOE 1.5 miles NE of Constantine, 3/4 miles west of Trevera flew west over Higher Eathorne Farm
Penzance – Black Redstart on Eastern Green Beach. Purple Sandpiper (32+) by Jubilee Pool
Gwithian – Water Pipit and Wheatear (2) at St.Gothian Sands LNR at 1200hrs (Thanks G.Kingdom)
Drift – Iceland Gull (juv) at Drift reservoir, no sign of Whooper Swan.
Sancreed - Iceland Gull (juv) in field
Truro – Great Spotted Woodpecker on feeders in private garden (Thanks S.Williams)
St.Austell – GN Diver (11) in bay
Praa Sands - Swallow (3) over at 1500hrs (Thanks T.Boulden)
St.Columb Major – Brambling still (Thanks D.Dennis)
Stepper Point – Short Eared Owl at Stepper Point (Thanks P.Mcvey)
Falmouth – Swallow (3) and Sand Martin (24) at College reservoir this morning (Thanks D.Chaney)
Wadebridge – Sand Martin (10+) and Swallow (3+) over Guineaport at 1500hrs (Thanks T.Potterton)
Zennor – Short Eared Owl and Hen Harrier (4) at Men-An-Tol this evening
