Todays birding highlights in cornwall includes:

Polgigga BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER still in field between higher Bosistow and Ardensawah Farms this morning (Thanks M.Halliday)

 

Stithians Curlew (14), Ruff (1), Little Gull, Green Sandpiper, Snipe, Buzzard (7), Little Egret, ‘Commic’ Tern and Marsh Tit. (Thanks S.Taylor) 

Wadebridge TEMMINCKS STINT still at 16.30hrs on Camel Estuary at Treraven Meadow. Park at Guineaport and then walk upstream under bridge for 50 yrds to view meadow on left

Lands End WRYNECK along cycle track by Trinity Loop this morning. Also Lesser Whitethroat and Grey Wagtail (45)

PorthgwarraMELODIOUS WARBLER (1 in 60ft Cover; 1 by coastguard cottages). Also WRYNECK (1 at Trevean Pool and 1 at Coastguard Cottages)

The LizardRED-BACKED SHRIKE at Goonhilly Downs on left side of road to Gwendreath by ford at 13.00hrs.

Hayle Estuary – (14.30pm to 18.30hrs) Little Stint (2), Curlew Sandpiper (14), Little Tern (15), Black Tern, Artic Tern, Common Tern (21), Sandwich Tern (27), knot (5), Whimbrel, Sanderling, Greenshank and Med Gull (2) (Thanks M.Halliday).
