Sunday 12th October 2008 - Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

Lands End - *RED-EYED VIREO* again at Trevilley Farm in garden of Mowhay Barn. Bird is elusive but shows well when in view. (It recovered well from it’s bump into the window!) Thanks to the owners of Mowhay Barn and the Farmer at Trevilley for their kind co-operation this morning, allowing access to their properties.

Nanjizal - Red-breasted Flycatcher (fem/1st cal male) in valley by track to Trrevilley Farm this morning.

Penberth Cove - Yellow-browed warbler, Firecrest and Common Crossbill (3) this morning.

Porthgwarra - Wryneck again by coastguards this morning.
