Sunday 10th February 2008 – Cornwall Bird Reports

Todays Birding highlights in Cornwall include:

The HUME’S LEAF WARBLERS were again reported from Cot Valley and Tehidy CP. The adult SPOONBILL was again at Whacker Quay on the River Lynher. CATTLE EGRETS were reported from Widegates, Looe (3); Stithians (1); Drift, Treganhoe Farm (14). The Little Gull and Water Pipit were still at Gwithian.

NewlynICELAND GULL (2w and 2x 1w) in Harbour this afternoon, also BN Grebe (1) and GN Diver (3) (Cornwall Birding et al) Also Whimbrel on St Clements Isle, Mousehole. (thanks H.Cook)
